A council member opens the hearing for the 2226 Third Avenue Rezoning proposal before turning it over to Richard Bass for his presentation on the proposal.

I will now open the 3rd public hearing on LU's 345, relating to the 2226 Third Avenue rezoning proposal.

This proposal seeks to develop a 10 story life science building in Manhattan and deputy speaker Ayala's district This application consists of a rezoning on the part on part the development site that is currently zone for residential use only.

The rezoning will be from an r 7b to an c 4 dash 6, which is the zoning district for the rest of the site.

The application also seeks a tax amendment to map mandatory inclusionary housing and extend the East Holland Corridor Special District to include the proposed development site.

Lastly, the application seeks a special permit to reduce the number of requiring load imperfs.
