I will now open the first public hearing on LU 6, 7, and 8 relating to 962 Pacific Street rezoning proposal in Council mayor Mohudson District in Brooklyn.

This is an unusual proposal because it is seeking the Rezum property that is located within the proposed Atlantic Avenue mixed proposed Atlantic Avenue mixed use plan.

This plan is projected to certify and begin the official public review process in just a few months this spring.

Despite the efforts to comprehensively rezone this area of of the city, the applicant is seeking the individual rezoning before The proposed comprehensive plan is finalized.

The request of rezoning is from a manufacturing district M1 dash 1, to a mixed use district monedash4/47a.

That will facilitate a mixed use project were approximately a 150 apartments.

This project would involve the mapping of a mandatory inclusionary housing over the resigned area, which will require the 38 to 45 of the UnisB income restricted.
