A council member opens the hearing for the Whitestone Lanes Rezoning proposal before turning it over to Council member Ung for her opening remarks.

I will now open the 2nd public hearing on LU's 1 and 2 relating to the Whitestone Lanes rezoning proposal.

And council member owns Dick's District in Flushing Queens.

The proposal is a rezoning from a manufacturing district m 1 dash 1 to a REIT residential district R7A to develop a residential building with approximately 415 apartments.

This rezoning will also involve mapping mandatory inclusionary housing, which will require approximately 113 of the units to be affordable units.
