Bishop Doctor Nelson is a man of God, committed to ministry, a restoration that reaches beyond the sanctuary.
0:06:51
To uplift those most in need, he was born in a beautiful island of Jamaica, and Bishop Nelson and his family relocated to Brooklyn, New York in 2003 where he presently serves as a senior pastor for the Church of God of East Flapish in my district, presently known as Ebony's Urban Ministry Center.
0:07:11
Bishop Nelson is a visionary who's guidance and focus on leadership development enabled the Church of God of East Flatbush to evolve from a single sell church model into a vibrant urban ministry center that is home to more than 1700 members and ministers to over 2500 on a weekly basis.
0:07:32
In 2011, Bishop Nelson led his congregation in purchasing 2 city blocks to develop the Eboniza Plaza, which will provide a 40,000 square footage urban ministry center and 530 affordable housing units.
0:07:49
I make a motion for unanimous consent to spread the invitation in full upon the record.
