Council Member Althea Stevens inquires about the achievement rates for participants obtaining their High School Equivalency (HSE) Diploma through the Department of Youth & Community Development's (DYCD) programs in 2023. Deputy Commissioner Mike Bobbitt reports that of the 1727 students enrolled in HSE programs, 423 were referred for the GED test, with 120 successfully receiving their diplomas.
