This procedure chapter covers the transition to the public testimony portion of the meeting. The committee council is instructed to call the first panel for public testimony. Instructions are provided for those wishing to testify but who have not yet registered, both in person and online. The process for in-person testimony is outlined, including going to the sergeants at the back of the room to fill out a testimony slip and registering online via the New York City Council website. Names of individuals called to testify are provided, marking the transition from procedural instructions to the commencement of public testimony.
