NYCHA operates under unique procurement guidelines not applicable to other city agencies and has a distinct relationship with MOCS.
- NYCHA is governed by federal and state requirements, specifically 2 CFR 200 and PHI 151.
- Unlike other city agencies, NYCHA is not subject to the PPP or relevant provisions in the city charter due to it not being a city agency.
- NYCHA's micro purchase limit is $10,000, and its small acquisition method limit is $250,000, contrasting with the city's higher micro purchase and MWE limits.
- The discussion highlights NYCHA's unique governance structure and procurement rules, distinct from other city entities.

So specifically, Nitro's governed by both federal and state requirements to CFR 200 and the PHI 151.
1:34:19
We are not subject to the PPP nor the relevant provisions within the city charter in regards to procurement.
1:34:28

I wish I would have the city's rules.
1:34:51
You know, so the city's micro purchase limit is 20,000 for general micros, I believe it's 35,000 for construction.
1:35:00
And then as been mentioned before, there's vehicles such as negotiated acquisition and another means to contract.
1:35:11
NICE is very prescriptive.
1:35:13
It's 10,000 for micros, 250,000 for the small acquisition method.
1:35:19
And that also includes MWE where the city has 1,500,000 for MWE.
1:35:25
But those are the the large variances.
