Just to reiterate some of our opening remarks over the past decade aid, New York City's older adult population has become more diverse than ever with the number of black Hispanic and Asian older adults outpacing the older white population and the population rate of immigrant older adults in the city growing faster than that of New York born older adults.

This topic was certainly an important one for us to address, and we thank everyone for their testimony I also just wanna note as chair of Ellis and I have been chatting throughout the hearing how disappointing it is that we continue to to receive inadequate answers from the administration and and from various agencies.

You know, I think it's a it's common practice that these agencies are siloed, that they don't share information between each other.

And we all live intersectional lives.

I think it's really important that these agencies start to serve and and provide services and resources as if we all you know, live intersectional lives, and we cannot continue to hear from agencies who say it's a responsibility of another agency to provide a very specific piece of data when everybody should have access to that.
