Associate Commissioner Anya Herasme describes DIFTA's expectation for cultural competency in programs serving South Asian seniors, mentioning India Home as a key provider.
- All programs are expected to be culturally competent and serve populations reflecting the community’s demographics.
- India Home, a large service provider with three locations, specifically caters to South Asian seniors.
- Previously a discretionary program, India Home now serves hundreds of South Asian older adults daily.

Can you speak to how else beyond holiday celebrations DIFTA is providing support to these communities, what more concretely how you're identifying providers, what kind of evaluations, or what the parameters are for DIFTA funding for these providers?
