Today, we'll be voting on OU's numbers 11 12 relating to the 230 Ken Avenue, Rezoning Proposal win, council member, restless district in Brooklyn.

We have also approval modifications, these 2 related items.

Which consists of a zoning map amendment and a zoning tax amendment.

Together, these actions will facilitate the development of a new mixed use residential building with approximately 40 units.

As Sher Riley noted in our zoning committee, we will be modifying the zoning map amendment to reduce the rezoning area to include only the development site, and to exclude the adjacent property, which is controlled by Con Ed.

The uncertainty over future energy utility needs And this as well as a surrounding area suggests that the parcels should not be rezoned and instead reserved for potential future utility use.
