Good afternoon.

2:32:41
My name is John Jackson.

2:32:51
We have been serving New York City and Long Island for over a 100 years.
2:32:56
We are very unique we are a very unique trade.
2:32:58
K?
2:32:58
We are the only trade that designs these systems.
2:33:02
We fabricate these systems.
2:33:04
We install these systems.
2:33:05
We balance them, and we also can inspect them.
2:33:09
We can proudly say we are the last true American trade out there.
2:33:14
We are here to discuss the fire smoke dampers in our HVAC system.
2:33:18
When one speaks of fire prevention to go right, they go right to sprinklers, fire extinguishers, and egress.
2:33:25
They never really think of HVAC systems.
2:33:28
The HVAC system is not only used for climate control and air purification to prevent degenerative disease, or any other diseases in the building.
2:33:37
It runs through the entire building from the basement to strategically fill fire smoke dampers to control the spread of smoke and fire from floor to floor, and even room to room depending on the design.
2:33:50
When inspected regularly, this can ensure the safety of evacuation.
2:33:53
Hated that aids the firefighters in their effort to contain loss of life and damage.
2:34:01
Inspected regularly by certified technicians would ensure that the building is a safe building for the people of New York.
2:34:07
I think you hit you I'm sorry.
Eric Dinowitz
2:34:11

Recently, we actually did do a training with the FDNY inspection team.
2:34:16
It was a free training in our facility.
2:34:19
We have in our facility a actual mock up for a fire smoke damper inspection.
2:34:24
It's a live trainer.
2:34:25
I'd like to take this opportunity to invite anybody's interested here on the panel to take time out of their day if they would like to and visit the school.
2:34:33
We were glad to go through and show you the validity of the inspection.
2:34:37
And the technician and the training that we do with our members.
2:34:41
With that, I'll thank you respectfully John Jackson, local team.
