Council Staff begins the public testimony segment, outlining the rules and procedures for panelists' participation.
- Each panelist is allocated 3 minutes to speak on topics relevant to the hearing.
- Public witnesses are prohibited from filming themselves or showing prerecorded videos during their testimony.
- Instructions are provided for both in-person and remote testimonies, ensuring a smooth process.
- The initial in-person panel comprises representatives from Climate Jobs NY, the New York State Nurses Association, and the United Federation of Teachers.
