This chapter details the instructions for individuals testifying both in person and remotely during the New York City Council meeting.

We'll now begin the public portion of the testimony.

A brief reminder, if you are testifying in person, please first complete a witness slip with the sergeant's arms at the back.

Each perk each speaker will be given 2 minutes to speak.

For those testifying in person, please come to the witness table as your name is called and wait for your turn to speak.

For those who are testifying remotely, once your name is called, the member of our staff will unmute you, and the sergeant arms will give you the go ahead to begin.

Please wait for the sergeant to announce you may begin before delivering your testimony.

During your testimony, you must remain on topic and maintain decorum.

It is not permitted to record yourself or the committee while giving your testimony.
