The Budget Director cannot commit to reversing the reductions in the Commission on Human Rights Law Enforcement's budget but notes that if economic conditions improve, it may be possible.
- Budget reductions impact enforcement, training, communications, and operations of the Commission on Human Rights Law Enforcement.
- A vacancy reduction of 8 positions is planned, starting in fiscal 2027.
- The inability to commit to reversing cuts is due to current economic uncertainty.
- Potential to discuss restoration of funds if economic conditions and resources allow.
