I wanna thank HPD for working in earnest with me, my office, and the advocates of my community as we work to make this proposal something Harlem can be very, very proud of.

To be clear, we know that this proposal may not be 100% perfect.

However, as we know, perfect should not be the enemy of good.

Particularly as it pertains to providing communities in my district with and city wide with more access to affordable housing and spaces so that they can live with dignity.
