Deputy Commissioner Edwin Pemberton explains the allocation of $44,800,000 for specific capital projects in the OTPS spending.

  • The funding is part of the collaboration between the Office of Management and Budget (OMB) and the Office of Technology and Innovation (OTI) on capital plans.
  • Each capital project may impact expenses, and upon project approval, funds are added to the budget.
  • Specifically, $44,800,000 is allocated for the 311 application, cyber, and infrastructure projects already planned.
  • Additionally, the expense budget is increased to support capital project requests.
