The Office of Technology and Innovation (OTI) is upgrading services related to childcare, small businesses, and jobs, and planning new housing benefits programs.

  • Upgrades include applications for childcare, employment portals for city jobs, and matching employees with talent.
  • Renewals for childcare applications and evaluation of conjunctive eligibility for childcare and housing benefits are in progress.
  • The introduction of housing benefits as a new service area is underway, focusing on simplifying application processes for multiple aid programs.
  • The OTI is assessing how to integrate various benefit systems into one unified experience, although the future of the Access HRA application remains uncertain.

That that's correct.
Jennifer Gutiérrez
1:25:10
Currently, which are the which ones are pending?
Matthew Fraser
1:25:14
So we have in the pipeline, we've got some upgrades that we're making to each one of those.
1:25:21
So I think when you look at jobs, jobs came out in multiple facets.
1:25:25
It's one of those that were looking for employment with the city.
1:25:28
And then we brought a a jobs from Door Portal live recently, where if you're an employee looking for talent, you can look at we can get you connected so you can look at those that supply to the city, see if they're eligible for something that you are looking for.
1:25:41
Mhmm.
1:25:42
In the child care phase, we did initial initial applications.
1:25:48
Now we're doing renewals, and soon we'll be looking at conjunctive eligibility.
1:25:52
You'll buyers for something else and whether you you also be eligible for child, he'll be looking at that too.
1:25:58
Beyond that, we have we're looking at housing benefits as the next frontier.
Jennifer Gutiérrez
1:26:02

Jennifer Gutiérrez
1:26:04
Oh, okay.
Matthew Fraser
1:26:04
Right?
1:26:05
So things like screen, gray.
1:26:09
Looking also at, like, how we can unify the application for other programs like such an aid and stuff like that and get them under a number on.
Jennifer Gutiérrez
1:26:17
And will access HRA remain separate as a separate city application?
Matthew Fraser
1:26:24
At at this moment, to say that, will be true definitively.
1:26:29
I I can't tell you at that moment, but what I would say is every system that renders benefit in some worship form, we're currently assessing this to see how we can get 1 integrated experience.
Jennifer Gutiérrez
1:26:39
Okay.
1:26:40
Okay.
