Thank you so much.
1:26:26
Chair Sanchez, I really appreciate how tremendous a job you do leading this committee.
1:26:33
I do wanna just echo council member Dinowicz in the chairs concerns about the increased insurance cost.
1:26:38
This is something that I'm hearing from many constituents about, and We really wanna see action and intervention to help address this.
1:26:45
Before jumping into some questions, I'll just say some nice things.
1:26:50
Despite the presence of the first deputy commissioner.
1:26:53
Thank thank you, council member.
1:26:56
I think we're on our way to a really good solution a bit for gardens, which was a very scary situation, and I wanna thank you and your team for helping us get there landlord proposed a 70% rent increase and we've been able to so far avoid any rent increase for the tenants who are on the precipice of securing section 8 vouchers, and we'll do everything we can facilitate enrollment there.
1:27:19
Secondly, We're closing in this fiscal year on a major loan for Kaplan Plaza North, 140 Kaplan Plaza West, one of our Mitchellamas, and we're excited for that to be as bold and ambitious alone as it can be to not only preserve affordability, but also help the building reach some of its urgent sustainability goals.
1:27:42
So thank you for working us on both of those fronts.
1:27:44
I don't wanna be premature in giving you credit on Kevin Plaza North until we're done.
1:27:48
But I'm hopeful that we're moving in a good direction.
1:27:51
I do wanna flag some areas of concern though because there was a buck coming.
