We are tremendously excited to present to you a project that represents the culmination of over 50 years of efforts to redevelop the Willard's Point Peninsula.

What was once a dumping ground for the city's ash waste has been cleaned up and is ready to accommodate the city's largest new 100% affordable housing development in over 40 years.

In addition to the over 6,000,000,000 in economic impact of this project, it'll bring more than 16,000 permanent construction jobs and will build new streets and infrastructure to serve both Willett's point and all of queens.

Phase 1 of the redevelopment is already underway.

As Queen's development group broke ground in January on the first 880 affordable housing units on the next slide, I believe that that'll go that'll take you through this.

This 1st phase will culminate culminate in the development of 1100 affordable units, a 650 c public school and an acre of open space.

All built atop 6 acres of environmentally remediated land.

And now, we're proud to be before you seeking approvals to develop an additional 17 acres of Willett's point on land whose environmental remediation is nearing completion.

This phase 2 project would build an additional 1400 affordable homes, 250 Room Hotel, a 150 10,000 more square feet of open space.
