So I think as part of our you know, ramp up on the the airport board and the conversations about the community advisory council.
1:26:11
I think there's been a couple of things One is reestablishing that those meetings happen.
1:26:17
Right?
1:26:18
Because as we mentioned, they had not been been happening.
1:26:21
And so creating the the space where we are able to not only talk about lease administration more generally, but also raise specific concerns that we've heard from the community.
1:26:34
So in our testimony, we talked about the example on the overnight trucking.
1:26:37
I know that's something that you have been leading on for the council and and for the city.
1:26:44
We participated in in a few of your public meetings on that.
1:26:47
And then we're also able to take that into our airport board meetings and to, you know, encourage the port authority to make additional acreage available, and that was something that did occur.
1:27:00
And so I I think as we continue to strengthen our connection to the JFK redevelopment program.
1:27:08
We'll continue to look for additional opportunities like that where we are amplifying the voice of the community.
1:27:16
At the same time as reinforcing EDC's mission in terms of economic development across across the All Five boroughs, including Queen's And is the community advisory council meeting the only place EDC is able to learn about the community level concerns with the redevelopment?
1:27:36
I would say that's the primary way.
1:27:40
You know, Jennifer mentioned about us participating in the CAO and other venues.
1:27:47
Obviously, you know, my team, the government community relations team at EDC has extensive relationships across queens with, you know, organizations, neighborhood associations, and so on.
1:28:01
And so you know, we definitely hear the concerns in a variety of ways.
1:28:06
But in terms of like a, you know, JFK redevelopment focused, entity, the advisory council is at.
1:28:15
EDC noted in their testimony last year that they worked elected leaders to include a commitment from the Port Authority to create scholarship programs for middle and high school students and aviation focus stem program Ram
