Proposal 7 would clarify that indoor agriculture, such as vertical farming, is allowed in commercial districts in the same way that greenhouse agriculture is permitted today.
It would also clarify that plant shops and other businesses with both indoor and outdoor areas can operate in commercial districts.

We also want to clarify that agricultural businesses with active indoor spaces and and passive outdoor spaces like a flower shop, for example, a flowerish or a plant shop, that they can operate.

Zoning does not make it clear that you can use an outdoor side lot or rear your lot for your business.
