The City of Yes economic opportunity proposal has received broad support from business groups and stakeholders who helped shape it:

  • The public review process started in June 2022 with information sessions.
  • Community boards were given 5 months to provide feedback.
  • The City Planning Commission approved the proposal 11-1 in January 2023.

This brings us to April 8th, today, the city council hearing. The city council has 50 days for its consideration for approval, disapproval, or modification within scope.

0:15:17
We referred for an additional month in advance and then didn't give just 60 days.
0:15:22
We gave 5 months worth of time for community boards.
0:15:24
To be able to come back to us and give feedback.

0:15:37
