McCready testifies that non-essential helicopter flights severely disturb his family's quality of life in the Upper West Side.

  • Despite moving to the neighborhood expecting a quieter environment, it feels like living on a highway due to constant helicopter noise
  • The noise rumbles through the windows, causing distress to the family's dog who now needs anti-anxiety medication
  • Business meetings have to be stopped at times due to the disruptive helicopter noise
  • He underscores the absurdity of allowing non-essential tourist flights to disturb residential areas in this manner
