A Prospect Heights resident testifies about the frequent and disruptive helicopter noise in their neighborhood.
- The resident lives near Prospect Park and can hear loud helicopters flying overhead almost every 20 minutes from 7am until late evening.
- The helicopters fly very low over buildings, causing the noise to reverberate and become deafening indoors and outdoors.
- The resident lives on the first floor, making the helicopter noise particularly intrusive in their apartment.
- The commuter helicopters are cited as a major source of the excessive noise.

Hello.
3:31:11
My name is Sydney Woodgren.
3:31:13
I live in the same place.

Just north of Crosslake Park, half a block off Flatbush Avenue, and I can attest also to the fact that helicopters are flying very low over our building constantly almost every day, almost every 20 minutes from 7 AM until late into the evening.

We live on the first floor.
3:31:35
The sound reverberates off of the buildings around us directly into our apartment, and it's you know, deafening indoors and outdoors.

So thank you for holding this hearing and for this opportunity to talk about my experience, which has been unfortunately quite horrible with the commuter helicopters in particular.

Thank you all
