The Jersey City resident explains that Hudson County and Jersey City have passed resolutions in support of New Jersey state legislation to reduce or eliminate non-essential helicopter operations.

  • Hudson County itself passed resolutions in favor of the New Jersey state legislation on the issue.
  • Jersey City also passed a resolution supporting restrictions on non-essential helicopters.
  • Hoboken passed a similar resolution as well.
  • However, they are struggling to determine how to effectively implement such restrictions.

And I have a question.
2:52:24
I know we've been talking to Phil Cohen a lot, your colleague.
2:52:26
Are there any we've done so many press conferences with New York and New Jersey, and I appreciate it on this topic.
2:52:32
Are there any localities?
2:52:34
Because I know what's going on on the state.
2:52:36
But are there any localities in Jersey that have passed any bans?
2:52:40
Because you have the, you know, major number of those doorless that fly pretty constantly because I've been in up, so I know.

Well, Hudson County itself at the county level passed resolutions in favor of the New Jersey state legislation.
2:53:00
Jersey City also passed a resolution, Hobo Compass a resolution.
2:53:05
So we do support the reduction of of or the elimination, really, of nonessential helicopter we just are struggling to figure out how to make it effective.
2:53:18
Okay.
