What is the breakdown of cases referred to the DOI and how many cases were pursued for different types of violations?

The City Clerk indicates there are usually 1 to 3 investigations per year, typically triggered by a specific issue.

  • Contact with the DOI is frequent, but primarily involves the DOI reaching out to the City Clerk's office.
  • There have not been significant incidents or violations requiring reporting to the DOI.
  • Details on violations are included in the annual report.

The clerk's office with a five person living bureau, I don't imagine, has the ability to duct proactive investigations.
1:50:07
So could you share with us a breakdown kind of year over year of how many cases, if any, have been further to DOE maybe in the last few years.
1:50:16
And if it's easier to follow-up in writing, that would be fine.
1:50:19
And similarly, I think we'd be interested in the breakdown of how many cases were pursued for different types of violations, failure to report, filing incorrect information, or is that a is that something you could follow-up with us in writing perhaps subsequent to the hearing or if you have any of that information today?

1:50:33
I mean, generally speaking, we could definitely follow-up with you on the investigations.
1:50:38
It seems that we we have 1 to 3 investigations a a year.
1:50:43
That that come up usually due to somebody

referred to DOIs.

1:50:47
In terms of referrals to DOI, we have a lot of contact with DOE, but it's mostly DOE contacting us.
1:50:53
Got it.
1:50:53
For information about lobbyists, we have not had you know, we we we have not found any knowing and willful violations that were required to be reported to a DUI.
1:51:07
In fact, there haven't been a lot of situations on the lobbying side where we've had the coal DOE in.
1:51:14
There was one situation I think involving pension lobbying that that we contacted them, and and that was it.
1:51:21
But but it there haven't been you know, that many there haven't been really any incidents to speak of that required that to happen.
UNKNOWN
1:51:32
Just in terms of the violations, it's actually reported.
1:51:34
It's included in our annual report, so we'd be happy to compile it for, you know, and provide analytics on it, but that is something that we include in our annual reports.
Lincoln Restler
1:51:44
Thank you.
1:51:44
And I I did review last year's annual report and found it to be very helpful.
1:51:48
So thank you for that.
