I I would just add that this council In last year's fiscal budget, I think, for the first time named a an ASAP as critical components of your budget this year where fighting during during a budget negotiations, fighting cuts to those those very programs.
0:29:52
And so in our budget response, we've made very clear those programs who help student that that helps students graduate and graduate in a timely fashion have shown to double graduation rates within within a timely fashion are priorities of this council.

Embedding transfer mentors within academic advisement, and Queens College launched a pilot program, yielded very successful retention rates, and we can get you information on that.
0:30:31
And so we are expanding a pilot now to 2 community colleges and another senior College to help alleviate some of that burden of the academic advisers and work in coordination with them.
Eric Dinowitz
0:30:42

Alicia Alvero
0:30:44
They did it this past academic year.

0:30:59
One of the most effective ways to add that person to and advisement is actually through peers, which our data tells us peer that students actually respond to in some cases quite a bit better.
0:31:09
When they get advice from their peers.
0:31:11
So we it's cost effective and it allows us to both provide work for our students and additional advising.
0:31:18
For the younger students.
