Thank you.
1:31:15
In my head, I was like, listen, Linda.
1:31:17
Coming here asking us the real questions.
1:31:21
And my my very quick macro answer to that is the bureaucracy is racist.
1:31:28
I really wanna do a report on this because I think the way that we do our budget process is bureaucratic in nature and doesn't really allow for us to ascertain the questions you ask.
1:31:43
In the negotiation process.
1:31:46
And so it's very frustrating for someone like me who really wants to see some change and, you know, see funding moved around to reflect all that you mentioned.
1:32:02
But the process in itself doesn't always allow for us to properly be able to assess and negotiate the budget based off of these questions.
1:32:13
So I think we need to really look at the process in which we do budgets in New York City, the process in which we pass legislation is all, like, a system that we are just all, like, continuing to perpetuate with not with not really taking a step back to change the system itself that we are currently operating in.
1:32:36
So Thank you for your testimony and your questions.
1:32:39
So I will also start with questions around appointments and staffing and timeline.
