I I wanted to highlight on the area where Cher Riley was discussing about the AMI and the affordability.
0:47:38
I do wanna hone in and just make a comment that there's a difference between the AMIs that we're looking at for people on fixed income, the people that really built the foundations of a coopcity and a progester and and those of their children and like them raising their own families in this district.
0:47:58
So Obviously, we all are looking at different ways to provide housing for a multitude of mixed families and and those salaries and incomes that they provided.
0:48:08
But I do want to hone in on.
0:48:11
Our goal is, yes, to provide housing for families and for and for people in our communities, but also to ensure that those unfixed incomes are not getting pushed out or can, you know, not live with their kids anymore or not necessarily have to go to a nursing home and instead can live within the communities.
0:48:28
I do just wanna hone in on that.
0:48:30
Additionally, I'd love to recommend Westchester Square library that was defunded in this last budget that is missing a $6, 000, 000 capital commitment from the administration as a library that you folks can jump right back in and ensure that's close in adjacent, that the families that we're providing housing for have access to that library.
0:48:53
Additionally, purchaser library can always use additional funding.
0:48:59
And I did just wanna shout out to DP for their pilot and study that's going on with the poorest pavement.
0:49:05
We have been circulating it in my district office to get as many people in in the know that is happening and that we're looking at alternatives for folks in the area.
0:49:16
Lastly, on comments, I'm slightly not appreciative of the MTA being a bit noncommittal today about a either a shuttle bus or anything.
0:49:28
We've been in conversations about these stations for several years, years that preceded us.
0:49:34
And I understand there's a study coming, but we need we have a big decision here in terms of a vote.
0:49:40
We need some hard line commitments on ensuring that seniors and coop city get some sort of way and accessibility to the station.
0:49:47
So I just wanted to state that.
0:49:49
Okay.
0:49:49
Traffic and pedestrian study Safety's are serious concerns that could be exasperated by the station's development, if not addressed significantly.
