Okay.
1:34:07
I would deaf they would definitely like to be a part of that.
1:34:10
You know that?
1:34:10
Thank you.
1:34:12
Can the administration and DEP commit to the study of sewer system capacity and flood control throughout the Mars Park rezoning area, but with special attention to the immediate station area and Bassett area.
Dylan Meagher
1:34:27
Thank you, council member.
1:34:29
So in Morris Park, we have our flooding hot spot study area that we're planning already.
1:34:38
And to the to the east of that, I believe, is the area that you're that you're speaking about.
1:34:46
The currently, the sewer system drains to a different kind of trunk sewer, which is like the main sewer.
1:34:53
And those that sewer system is being monitored and modeled to see what the flows are there for that.
1:34:59
Currently, the modeling suggests that they're that it it's within capacity.
1:35:05
As far as storm water, your offices us a couple of locations.
1:35:10
I appreciate that and a couple of pictures.
1:35:13
And our commissioner is planning to meet you in the field on Friday.
1:35:17
I think we can speak about those specific locations that you've sent us, and maybe we can send you our team just just to reiterate those locations, just to be sure that we have them correctly and talk about opportunities in those specific locations.
Kristy Marmorato
1:35:32
Okay.
Dylan Meagher
1:35:33
And, you know, we have been working with the communities too on the cloud burst investments too.
1:35:40
So we have been engaging them.
1:35:41
Although, I know that's a slightly different area than when you're asking about.
Kristy Marmorato
1:35:45
Okay.
1:35:45
Alright.
1:35:46
Thank you.
1:35:47
And what road changes should my community expect to to be to facilitate the plaza and and station access.
1:35:55
Like, is there gonna be changes?
1:35:56
I think you had mentioned demapping or mapping?
Michael Kavalar
1:36:00
Yes.
1:36:00
So the
Kristy Marmorato
1:36:01
By the plaza.
Michael Kavalar
1:36:02
Yeah.
1:36:02
So the proposed action there is a mapping action.
1:36:06
So typically for Plaza spaces, we thought it was important that it'd be under jurisdiction of DOT in the eventual future.
1:36:14
And so the mapping action would essentially extend Morris Park Ave into that sort of triangular lot that would open up the view to the station
Ruben Diaz Junior
1:36:22
there.
1:36:22
Okay.
Kristy Marmorato
1:36:30
Will the plaza be complete before the metro Metro North station surface begins at Mars Park?
Michael Kavalar
1:36:41
So in terms of the timing around the plaza, I I'm not able to give you a timeline.
1:36:47
I you know, where this is the action that sets us up for that future conversation.
1:36:52
So I'll just note that I don't know what's typical, if there's a a typical answer for that.
1:36:57
We know the stations are coming soon, and we've been focused on doing everything we can to ensure that the neighborhoods are, are ready for them, but I don't know if DOT would have anything they'd like.
Kristy Marmorato
1:37:09
With COVID, has it pushed back the whole project?
1:37:12
And when do you guys plan on opening the station.
