David was an inspiration for so many myself included from my very 1st days as a lawyer, and we fought many battles together over the year right here in these chambers.

David was as passionate about his community on the south side of Williamsburg as he was for Puerto Rico.

As I told him just a few days before we lost him a couple weeks ago, I still hear his voice and words of wisdom in my head as a council member.
