Council Member Farías presents an extensive list of secured investments and improvements for Prochester, Castle Hill, and surrounding communities as a result of the rezoning negotiations. These investments cover various areas including education, recreation, infrastructure, and community development.
- Over $10 million in capital upgrades for local schools, including PS 106, MS 127, Archer Elementary, Linden Tree Elementary, and PS 12
- Over $45 million for complete playground renovations at Taylor Playground, Castle Hill Playground, and Virginia Playground
- Over $42 million for a complete overhaul of East Tremont Avenue, including parking studies, sidewalk improvements, and safety enhancements
