I am pleased that we have 2 usurp actions that have come before the council today in district 33.

Firstly, much needed housing along Myrtle Avenue in Bedstuy that will create some deeply affordable housing, some market rate housing, some community space for a a beloved community based organization, some retail space, This is a right a a good development, and I'm very proud that District 33 continues to be responsible for more new housing starts than any district in the city over the last 15 years.

We are also I'm also supporting a commercial project at 500 Kent Avenue, and I really wanna thank the Consolaneous Division, in particular, William Vidal, who provided exceptional guidance to me and my team through this process.

And I'd like to thank the developer who smartly partnered with a local trusted community based organization, United Jewish organizations of Williamsburg and North Brooklyn as a co applicant on the site.

They together will ensure that a last mile facility is never built at this site and instead We hopefully create a good new facility that a good new commercial established building that provides great jobs to our community, more access to our waterfront, and is smartly built around the Kent Avenue bike lane.
