The council proposes to modify this series of applications from the New York City Department of City Planning to better align with neighborhood character by adjusting heights and densities in key areas, returning minimum parking requirements to those in existing zoning, and adjusting NIH options to better reflect incomes throughout the park Chester.

197 Berry Street rezoning will reduce existing development parking requirements from 142 accessory parking spaces to 42 in order to convert existing parking spaces to a self storage facility containing 300 self storage units in the Williamsburg's neighborhood of Brooklyn And Council member Gutierrez' district.

And a city map changed to facilitate the development of a waterfront site just south of the Outerbridge Crossing and Staten Island into a marine terminal specially designed for the staging and assembly of offshore wind components, which are essential to supporting New York's transition to green renewable energy.
