Council Member Christopher Marte opens the Manhattan delegation meeting, welcoming attendees and outlining the main agenda item: voting to recommend Mark Meridy for appointment to the Department for the Aging Advisory Council. He acknowledges present council members and those joining via Zoom.

Good morning, and welcome to today's meeting of the Manhattan Deli I'm council member Marte, and I'm honored to co chair the delegation with council member voucher.

This public meeting of delegation is convenient pursuant to section 103 of the public officer's law to conduct the following business pursuant to section 2403 of the New York City charter, we will vote to recommend Mark Maretti for appointment by the mayor to the department for the aging advisory council.

If appointed by the mayor, Mister Maretti serves the remainder of a 3 year term expiring on March 31st, 2026.
