I I have to give the same answer to start that I've given to others who've asked me about pending legal matters, responsibly, ethically, I should study them myself.
7:44:16
You've laid out cases in precedence, judges opinions, judges, I know and respect who've made rulings against the city.
7:44:25
And this is a class of cases.
7:44:28
A class of cases like Council member brewer referred to earlier about 9 11 health consequences where they where representing Rudy Washington, former deputy mayor, who's suffered life threatening health consequences from 911, opened up for the first time health benefits to those who were down at 911, and we're very proud of that.
7:44:53
And he's very proud of that.
7:44:55
Although his life has been held, since 9 11.
7:44:59
You're talking about a life of hell from people who asserted rights, and now we're seeing some some courts vindicate their rights, but I would have to study those cases.
7:45:12
Study the body of cases and see if they overlap and whether the city's policy now, you know, those court cases, whether they are defensible or not.
7:45:26
I pledged to you that I will do that, but I can't responsibly and ethically tell you what to what I will conclude because I have to study the issue.
7:45:37
I have to study the body of cases.
7:45:39
I have to hear from people in the law department.
7:45:41
That on these issues and then make decisions.
7:45:44
But when I do do that and I will make it a priority because it sounds like the city is paying out a lot of money, I will call it as I see it.
7:45:54
And tell that to the administration and to the council?
