0:12:45
I just wanted to give you that opportunity.
0:12:48
Before I write this too.
0:12:50
So thank you so much for coming.
0:12:52
I do have a few questions, and then we followed by council member, Salam, who have some questions.
0:12:57
Can you please explain the resiliency measures environmentally friendly components embedded in this building design and site plan.
0:13:05
Can you expand on that a little bit?
Peter Procida
0:13:07
Yes.
0:13:07
The building oops.
0:13:08
Sorry.
0:13:09
The building's designed to passive house standards.
0:13:11
It will include solar power on both of the roofs.
0:13:15
We're doing some rainwater harvesting in conjunction with DEP and and adhering to the SWIP to alleviate impacts to the storm water systems in the street.
0:13:29
And we are using high efficiency PTHPs for heating and cooling of the units, as well as all electric throughout other than a emergency generator, which will be gas fired.
Kamillah Hanks
0:13:41
Just for the record, PTH.
0:13:44
Acronyms, we have
Timothy Frye
0:13:45
a lot.
Peter Procida
0:13:45
I know.
0:13:46
I know.
0:13:47
Package p terminal heat pump.
Kamillah Hanks
0:13:51
Got it.
0:13:52
Thank you.
0:13:55
So in terms of the site plan and design, how does the residential space interact with the new vendor plaza.
0:14:03
And likewise, what is the separation between these two spaces?
Peter Procida
0:14:07
Yeah.
0:14:07
For lack of a better term, we have separated church and state.
0:14:12
The the lobbies on 115th and 116th are independent of one another.
0:14:19
And the vendor the residents will have access to their building or their tower and not to one another's tower to, you know, focus it on the community so that you have you know, 50 neighbors instead of a 100 neighbors who are the people that you're dealing with.
0:14:36
The, you know, the market will have its own separate and distinct entry.
0:14:39
There is no shared space in between the residential.
0:14:43
There are shared utility rooms and stuff, but that is only for building management, and the residents will not have access to those.
Kamillah Hanks
0:14:50
Thank you for your clarity.
0:14:51
Now I'd like to recognize council member, Salam, who will also have questions.
