So I've been on a call.
1:25:44
I heard everyone.
1:25:45
Thank you guys for and writing me and allowing me to speak today.
1:25:48
I do wanna just say that when this project first was brought to my attention, I am remy and tuned to, like, making sure that our community have space is something that we are lacking.
1:25:59
And as you guys know, we work with young people, but as our young people age out of programming with all the nonprofits here, trying to make sure they have another space that they can go to so they can do job readiness, job training, and being able to lock in a different career that they would like whether that's in their community or outside of their community, but also just need to save space.
1:26:19
And so we can expand off of the work that we already been doing in the neighborhood.
1:26:23
I think that we have amazing youth programs.
1:26:25
We have amazing leaders and stakeholders in the community, and they just wanna see more done when it comes to our younger adults as you guys know between the ages of 20 to about 30 adults, the age that we are forgetting about and being in other spaces other than just being outside in the parks and playing basketball just really looking for a safe vibrant space.
1:26:45
And I think that 150 Mill Street can be supportive with this space, but just making sure we're holding everyone accountable and we're getting the things that we do need that's gonna benefit Raghook as we've been a Raghook resident.
1:26:56
My first Apartment was in Raghook.
1:26:58
I've seen how much Raghook has been left behind.
1:27:00
I don't know that there's a lot of work to do in Raghook, but there are at least on the ground during that work, and we just need supporters like you to expand off that work by making sure we have vibrant spaces that can take on the work that we need to be done with our students as they age out of these programs.
1:27:15
And, of course, we also need healthy food.
1:27:18
We can't make art.
1:27:19
We can't make to go to work if we're hungry and not having a healthy meal.
1:27:22
So I'm entombed and inclined to make sure that we have more space and healthy restaurants, especially for our elders.
1:27:30
But as we grow Redhook and continue to, you know, do the work here, we wanna make sure our community stay beautified, stay safe vibrant, and that everybody have access to the different resources.
1:27:40
And only how to do that is providing space.
1:27:43
Thank you.
