You know, I I would also like love to see more around, you know, programming around young mothers that offer, you know, a more comprehensive level of support.
1:34:22
We have a lot of students here today, young people.
1:34:28
We're talking about young.
1:34:31
But it's it's it's really it's it's important, you know, that, you know, we're because sometimes we're starting from 0.
1:34:36
Right?
1:34:36
We don't have that foundation

1:34:38
and Yeah.
Diana I. Ayala
1:34:38
And that was true from, you know, for me.
1:34:40
And even for my children, and I and I see the difference in the generation.
1:34:43
I'm like, these kids are a little bit more purplage.
1:34:45
They don't really understand.
1:34:46
Right?
1:34:46
Am I I remember when my mother said to us, like, you don't understand?
1:34:49
We used to have to walk to
Lincoln Restler
1:34:51
school, a

hundred miles.
1:34:52
No shoes.
1:34:54
But, you know, it's true.
1:34:55
Right?
1:34:56
It shifts.
1:34:57
But, you know, seeing them struggle, you know, even with their privilege to find, you know, employment.
1:35:03
And, you know, mom yeah.
1:35:04
My mom can't really help too too much.
1:35:06
I end up in the near post, but they you know, it's it's it's really important for me to kinda witness that firsthand because then it allows me to see kinda where the gaps are.
1:35:16
Mhmm.
1:35:17
And and, you know, specifically speaking for single mothers that are struggling in my community.
1:35:23
I see a lot of need in that area, and I also see and really want to highlight the need for employment resources and opportunities for young people who may not want to go to college.
1:35:34
Right?
1:35:34
Whom maybe that's not an option for whom maybe dropped out of out of high school and are, you know, hopefully none of you are dropping out of high school.
1:35:43
But, you know, are kind of in in that in between space, right, where they're trying to figure out who they are as a right, what the next phase of their life is gonna look like.
1:35:51
And I I really did, you know, enjoy that that linkage between the Mount Sinai and the Stripes, right, where, you know, you're building a workforce field.
1:36:01
Right now, we have a huge need for social workers.
1:36:05
You know, we have a huge need for mental health providers.
1:36:09
Who are better advocates for these resources?
1:36:11
Right?
1:36:11
And when you're talking about you know, making sure that they are culturally relevant.
1:36:18
Right?
1:36:18
That that that we're meeting people where they are.
1:36:22
So, you know, just a a couple a little bit of, you know, food for thought and, you know, hopefully, we we can turn some of these ideas into into something great.
1:36:31
But thank you so much for for being here today.
1:36:34
We really enjoyed this conversation.
