Right?
1:50:12
Okay.
1:50:12
I don't wanna take up all the time, but there's, you know, in a city of concrete and asphalt, I think we forget that it's the city of waterfronts, right, 4 5 boroughs.
1:50:20
4 of them are islands are connected to 1.
1:50:23
You know, I saw bringing an express ferry to Bay Ridge has been an absolute game changer.
1:50:28
There's no quicker way to get to Manhattan from Southern Brooklyn than by the ferry in Bay Ridge.
1:50:34
You know, I think the mayor likes to talk a lot about how cool and hip all these places are and and, you know, like, Kony Island.
1:50:39
Everyone talks about Kony Island.
1:50:40
How great it is.
1:50:41
Everyone's gotta come to Kony Island.
1:50:42
But then when it comes to investing money in Kony Island, we we start getting excuses So we're gonna fight really hard on that.
1:50:48
We wanna see it happen.
1:50:50
Impossible for us to believe that this is you know, it's just impossible for us to believe that it would cost this much money.
1:50:56
So we look forward to working with you on that, and appreciate your partnership.
Michelle Lamberti
1:51:01
Thank you for your question.
1:51:02
And also for your advocacy around Kony Island.
1:51:05
We know how interested your community is, and Barry, who share the passion about Barry.
1:51:09
I just wanted to specify with respect to like the study and the really high cost, the $250,000,000.
1:51:16
That would not be my understanding is for the Ferry Landing.
1:51:19
I can't speak to what prior administrations had done with respect to the study, but our understanding that that was more with respect to wave attenuation, so it's really was building a very, very long seawall.
1:51:30
James, the team might know better.
1:51:31
It was, like, 3 football fields, I think, in order to make landing at that site safe to be able to bring boats in.
1:51:39
So just wanted to to clarify for you and to know that we really do take it.
1:51:42
Seriously, we're not looking to throw up Well,
Justin L. Brannan
1:51:44
I've I've got no problem going in building a coalition and fighting to find the money.
1:51:48
I I think I do that pretty well, but it's we need to land on a price that we actually can all rally around.
1:51:54
And I think The $250,000,000 price is like if you don't wanna sell your house, you sell it, you put it up on for 250 because no one's gonna buy it.
1:52:01
Right?
1:52:01
So we wanna get to a spot where we can all agree on on the feasibility on what it would actually cost.
1:52:05
So then we could go and try to access some of this money, federal, state money, whatever it may be.
1:52:10
Alright.
1:52:10
Thank you.
