And what are the current ridership statistics for the seasonal ferries around Governor's Island and Rockaway Rocket?
Franny Civitano
0:38:36
I don't have Governor's Island.
0:38:38
We can get back to you on that.
0:38:40
We do know that that a a very productive route, the the the shuttle that goes back and forth.
0:38:46
For the Rockaway Reserve, which is part of the Rockaway route, but is a higher fare, we saw 37,000 tickets that were sold from Memorial Day to Labor Day, which generated $370,000.
0:39:03
And the Rockaway Rocket from July 20th to Labor Day sold over 10,000 tickets and generated over a 100,000 in revenue.
0:39:13
So we think of those as 2 very successful programs.
Amanda Farías

Cheapoaks happens to have the number of riders that utilize the ferry service during that time period in total?
James Wong
0:39:23
Over this summer, we cared about 3,100,000 riders.
Amanda Farías
0:39:26
On each of at least Oh,
James Wong
0:39:28
sorry.
0:39:28
That that was system wide.
Amanda Farías
0:39:30
System wide.
James Wong
0:39:31
Yeah.
0:39:32
We can get back to you certainly with more specifics on those 2 routes and for the summer.
Amanda Farías
0:39:36
That'd be great.
0:39:36
Thank you.
0:39:38
And are there any similar express varies in the works for any of the areas in the city?
James Wong
0:39:44
There's no current plan for a new version of the Rockaway Rocket.
0:39:50
We saw what we did this year, which was a slight change and was proven very successful, we will consider whether we need to make additional tweaks to services like that.
0:39:59
The value of the South Brooklyn faster connections, which is something that we started a couple of years back, which allows for certain stops to be skipped in the AM peak so that we can get people from Bay Ridge or other places into the city faster to get to work has proven to drive ridership from those locations.
0:40:16
So it is a model that we do like to look at and we'll continue to look at in the future.
