I'm sorry.
3:03:50
I I just heard you.
3:03:53
I would like to speak because I am a parent of 2 children at PS 183, and we have loved the school.
3:04:04
We've loved the area.
3:04:06
My husband is a doctor at Royal Cornell.
3:04:10
So we have great respect for hospitals.
3:04:13
And I have a lot of family and friends who were all cared for and saved by MSK, a tremendous respect for them as well.
3:04:21
However, They have been very dismissive of the families and students at the school who are just two doors away from the building.
3:04:33
Just because it is a good mission that MSK has does not provide it the right to destroy our kids' health and their ability to learn.
3:04:43
I greatly greatly appreciate everything MSK does, but they've offered no specifics to us on how they're going to help our children make sure that they do not get, as plaintiff's poisoning, that they are breathing clean air.
3:05:00
They say they'll monitor the air, but what does that even mean?
3:05:03
And what would that mean for our children's learning?
3:05:06
So they're they're not taking any actionable steps.
3:05:08
They're just doing a lot of talking and not actually supporting us.
3:05:13
School has already begun, and they haven't done anything to really fix our problems.
3:05:19
So while I highly support MSK, I I just please, I'm begging you to require that they change the profile of their tower and that they pay attention to the community that they're in.
3:05:34
And make sure they don't cause cancer in our kids.
