Good afternoon, members of the committee.
2:27:39
Thank you so much for giving me the opportunity to speak today.
2:27:43
My name is Michael Feinberg.
2:27:44
I've lived in the city for the past 12 years, and I'm here to express my strong support.
2:27:49
For the expansion of Memorial Sloan Kettering on the upper east side.
2:27:53
MSK has long been a leader in cancer treatment, research, and education.
2:27:59
In fact, a friend of mine received lifesaving care at MSK and I've seen firsthand the incredible dedication and expertise that the staff brings their work.
2:28:07
The expansion of this world renowned institution wouldn't sure that more patients like my friend can receive the critical treatment they need.
2:28:15
The expansion will allow MSK to further enhance patient care, meet the growing demand for services, and continue its groundbreaking research.
2:28:23
At a time when cancer diagnosis are increasing, expanding the capacity and capabilities in MSK is not just necessary, it's urgent.
2:28:31
As a longtime resident of the city, I believe this proposal will benefit the entire community, both by strengthening health care and by contributing to the local economy through job creation and support for small businesses.
2:28:43
I urge the committee to approve this proposal.
2:28:45
It represents an investment in the future of health care and the well-being
