In Q, I too wanna say that I miss Carlos Marino.
1:19:04
I spoke at his funeral and his sister was my maid of honor at my wedding.
1:19:10
Also, I wanna thank Lending there.
1:19:11
I didn't get a chance to.
1:19:12
I wanna thank Carlene and Rivera, Schuler, Puder, JCRC, Manhattan Jewish history, Initiative, the Jewish Labor Council, the Museum of Jewish Heritage, the Jewish caucus, and Regina Paul from legislative affairs.
1:19:25
I'm introducing something brand new called bind it's called a binding resolution 560, and it utilizes section 803 of the city charter to direct the Department of Investigation to assess the knowledge city government possess on the environmental Hoxins produced by September 11th attack on the World Trade Center.
1:19:46
As you know, no administration has indicated what the city has in terms of these documents.
1:19:54
DOI would have 2 years to do this.
1:19:56
I wanna thank Benjamin of the 911 health watch from the division, legislative, Stephanie Ali, West Jones, and Juanita John.
1:20:05
And most particularly, John Halsted and Sam goes from from my office.
1:20:09
Never been done.
1:20:10
Let's hope that this is the way that we can get the information.
1:20:14
I'm also introducing intro 10 20 regarding the inspector general for the New York Police Department.
1:20:22
I don't think the public even knows there is an inspector general.
1:20:25
The current ID was appointed in August 23.
1:20:28
The job had been vacant since the end of the De Blasio administration.
1:20:32
This bill would require DOE to appoint an IG within 90 days of a vacancy.
1:20:38
They've only issued 6 reports during this administration, and I can think of 6 things more to investigate or more.
1:20:45
And this would require DOE to report on the number of investigations, the subject of each investigation, and a description of each incident where the police department did not give timely access to information.
1:20:58
I hope we will sign on and take note of section 803 of the charter.
1:21:04
Thank you very much.
