The question I have is for Ali Taylor.
2:52:09
Do you want to this is a softball for you.
2:52:13
Do you want to comment on DOH MH's responses to the questions earlier today?
2:52:21
And they're they have people here.
2:52:23
So
Allie Taylor
2:52:23
Okay.
2:52:23
That's fine.
Lynn C. Schulman
2:52:25
No.
2:52:26
Saying they're here to listen.
2:52:27
Okay.
Allie Taylor
2:52:32
I wanna say that I was surprised by their lack of preparation and lack of candor, but I'm not surprised.
2:52:38
This is a pattern that we've seen from DOH for decades.
2:52:42
I don't believe that DOH should be have oversight over ACC because they do not care.
2:52:48
They have shown that time and time again.
2:52:50
It is unfathomable to me that they would show up to a city council hearing and when asked if they want more money for Spay Nuder to basically say, nah, we're good.
2:53:04
I hope that what you saw today is indicative that we absolutely need change.
2:53:10
We need a city, separate department of animal welfare.
2:53:15
That would house ACC and that would provide services for rescuers and pet parents that we so desperately need.
Lynn C. Schulman
2:53:22
Thank you very much, and thank you to this panel.
2:53:27
Oh, I'm sorry.
