4:56:52
I'm a former client and current volunteer.
4:56:54
I wanted to take the top the opportunity to tell you my story as someone who comes from the community that is affected by the lack of affordable resources for pet care for pet care.
4:57:06
As a trans woman and member of the LGBT community, having a dog to me means having a child.
4:57:12
I put everything into caring for him as a mother would, and that means doing everything I can to prolong his life, ensure and ensure he will receive all most important preventative care necessary.
4:57:27
I come from an underserved community that is deprive of the resources needed to take care of our fire baby.
4:57:34
And what I've learned is that also means we get further from access to the education that comes from having those resources within reach.
4:57:43
It wasn't until I came across a wonderful organization, call positive tales that I was able to learn more about when I needed to care for my first baby macaroni and thank god for them.
4:57:54
They were able to provide me with the financial support to do so.
4:57:59
I was so moved by how much they did my fur baby and how much they taught me about its needs that I immediately wanted to spread the word among my friends, among their serve about their services.
4:58:12
I would share the details of their pop up veterinarian clements and my friends will arrive with their fur babies and wait sometimes up to 5 hours to receive the benefits their free veterinary clinics offered.
4:58:27
Little by little, I also see my community changing their attitudes.
4:58:31
Towards animal care.
4:58:32
As they begin to see how these service has impacted their animals and them, but but the problem is there's only one positive tail, and their resources and time is so limited.
4:58:46
And the problems that we need hundreds of hundreds of them.
4:58:50
At the time of living and surviving is becoming almost impossible for so many it is our children that get us through our hardships.
4:58:58
Please help us prolong their lives.
4:59:01
Please unburden the shelters by investing in more resources for for families that want to keep their children.
