Everyone for the opportunity to testify.
7:47:23
It's been a long exhausting day, and I don't wanna I have a story to along the lines of what others have testified.
7:47:32
I the thing I would say that I have particularly to offer is that I've just heard so many heroic hearts of my fellow New Yorkers, people in rescue, people that love their animals.
7:47:47
And I I feel like finding that funding to provide affordable care is is just gonna be multiplied many times over because I don't know how you could find dollars that could go farther.
7:48:00
THERE A LOT OF BEAUTIFUL ORGANIZATIONS THAT ARE STAND READY TO DO MORE IF THEY Just HAD THE RESOURCES.
7:48:08
AND IN MY COMMUNITY AND WITH THERE ARE MANY ABANDONED CATS And I know many people would have their animals, but they cannot afford to care for them.
7:48:19
And so they abandon them when they're injured or sick, and our volunteers here, including OC CAMERA, work so hard, so hard, to try to do the impossible with very little.
7:48:32
Last thing I'd say is I also I have a service dog, and I have been fortunate to have a grant to cover some of his and he's doesn't have any major illness or injury.
7:48:45
But I've I've had a grant to cover some, and I've been able to make up the rest.
7:48:50
But already in his 1st 2 years of life, I've had a couple of times where I've had to grapple with them.
7:48:57
I'm gonna be able to keep him because because I fear the the bills and where will I turn, and is he in good hands with me, or should he be living somewhere else where that care is not so expensive and where he I know he'd get the care he needed if he could.
7:49:16
So anyway, thank you so much.
7:49:18
It's been a long exhausting day.
7:49:20
Thank you, everyone, for the chance to add my voice, and I appreciate your
