And in your letter yesterday, you said that there are 127 stores that were originally issued a ceiling order that the office then withdrew.
1:00:13
So it's a 127 stores that were shut down and then reopened.
1:00:16
Could you tell us why?
Anthony Miranda
1:00:18
There'd be I guess it's very reasons.
1:00:20
We issued over a 1000 ceiling orders.
1:00:22
So of 127, I believe we're at 15% or some a little less 15% to 13% in terms of what has been overturned, and they will they will be overturned for for different reasons.
1:00:34
So there's no one reason.
1:00:35
There'll be various reasons that are based on the legal arguments that are made the the recommendation by oath and their follow-up review by our office and the other attorneys involved in
Justin L. Brannan
1:00:44
the review process.
1:00:46
Okay.
1:00:46
So couple of weeks ago, the mayor announced that over a 1000 stores had been sealed.
1:00:52
Is that not an accurate number?
Anthony Miranda
1:00:54
That is.
Justin L. Brannan
1:00:57
Okay.
1:00:57
Because the letter yesterday the letter yesterday that that said there were 983 stores were sealed.
Anthony Miranda
1:01:04
That means that the 875 locations still seals because some of the locations were unsealed.
1:01:13
Alright.
1:01:13
So the actual numbers are the actual numbers are 1100 to 52 sealed locations.
1:01:20
139 seals were to end, a 138 vacate orders.
1:01:25
That's what we have right now.
1:01:29
Approximately 875 locations are still sealed.
Justin L. Brannan
1:01:32
And do we have a sense from the legal folks, how many of these I know there hasn't been a ton of time, but but how many of these sealing orders stand up in court?
Anthony Miranda
1:01:52
Back to our stats, I'll give it to you.
1:01:56
Of the 1124 ceiling orders issued, 208 ceiling orders were dismissed by oath That's a total of 19%.
Justin L. Brannan
1:02:09
Okay.
1:02:10
I have some questions from the majority whip, but I'm gonna give it back to Chair Brewer and some of my colleagues.
1:02:17
Thank you, Shar.
Anthony Miranda
1:02:18
Thank you.
Gale A. Brewer
1:02:18
I have 2 quick questions, and then I'll turn it over to my colleagues.
