Couple of questions pertaining to and first of all, thank you for the operation padlock.
1:13:38
It's been working in my district.
1:13:41
But particularly once a shop is closed down and it's padlock, what's being done, I'm getting a lot of complaints and calls from residents about activity that has now emerged front of locations where folks are still continuing some of the illicit activity.
1:14:01
What's being done?
1:14:02
What's the follow-up being done?
1:14:04
Because I I haven't seen any follow-up by the task for us.
1:14:09
So I wanna know, is there anything in place that's gonna be set up to address this particular issue?
Anthony Miranda
1:14:15
As we had indicated earlier, when it comes out to street sales and and then it falls to the New York City Police Department, does not fall under the guidelines and the purview of the task force of of the joint compliance task.
Chris Banks
1:14:29
They're in front of the business.
1:14:30
Yeah.
1:14:31
And they're still in front of the business.
1:14:32
Yeah.
1:14:33
The signage is still up, which obviously still gives allows them to still promote the business as though it's still in operation.
1:14:43
And you're seeing folks sit in front with tents, chairs, crates, So if if there can be some type of follow-up to to address that, I would appreciate that.
Anthony Miranda
1:14:58
Now we do work with the police department, so I'm clear about this.
1:15:01
I just wanted to make sure about jurisdictional kind of boundaries.
Chris Banks
1:15:04
Social jurisdiction.
Anthony Miranda
1:15:05
It is it is by law where we have authority over and where we don't.
1:15:10
So sometimes the locations outside are tied to the location which affords us the opportunity to go back.
1:15:15
If it's other than independent sales or there's nothing directly tied into the location that was pilogued, then it would be probably enforcement primarily relying on NYPD and OCCB to be able to respond to it.
1:15:28
And when they access, we support those efforts as well, and we'll join them in any operations that they're doing.
