Thank you so much, Cher.

Good morning, everyone.
0:30:53
So I I wanna I wanna just focus in on impartial hearings and actually this this bleeds over to the section 8 side if that's if that's alright.
0:31:04
My office has been receiving a lot of constituents in the past weeks who have recertifications that are due in 3, 4 months, and they're getting termination letters because they have not yet submitted documents, but they're not due yet.
0:31:19
So my first question is just what is what is the process?
0:31:22
I don't know if we have the right set of people here, but what is the process for, you know, in the timeline for when when constituents should be getting this information?
0:31:31
Are these notices?
0:31:32
And I think thank the inner gov team, Brian, for always solving all of our issues, but if there's a better way to to go about it.
0:31:41
So that's that's one.
0:31:43
And then 2, honing in on the office of impartial hearings, So can you can you share whether you have the ability to audit the office of impartial hearings to check whether procedures are properly being followed?
0:31:56
And if so, how do audits occur?
0:31:57
And I have a couple more on on that front.
Hannah Roth

Good morning, council member.
0:32:10
The office of impartial hearings is a separate entity from the law department.
0:32:16
So knowing that, we can get back to you a little bit about the details of audits or other things going on there.
0:32:23
I know that we regularly do have impartial hearings both on the section 8 side and on the termination of tenancy and for remaining family member grievances and other grievances before them.
0:32:34
So we can get back to you
Gillian Connell
0:32:35
a little bit more about
Annika Lescott-Martinez
0:32:36
that.
Pierina Ana Sanchez
0:32:36
We'll go back to me.
0:32:37
And then on the recertification side, for section 8, do you have that information on timelines?
0:32:44
Process.
Eva Trimble
0:32:46
We'll have to get back to your council member on that as well.
0:32:48
Unfortunately, we don't have a section a team here with us today.
0:32:51
Okay.
